Sir Celso Lacuna, KGOR, is a Foreign Service graduate of the University of Manila. He joined the Department of Foreign Affairs in 1962 and retired in 1997 after35 years of continuous public service. In 1995 Sir Celso Lacuna was awarded by the Order of the Knights of Rizal the Distinguished Service Medal of Rizal for his "meritorious and extensive research on Rizal's stay in Germany and the memorable voyages of Rizal on the Rhine River" and for his "tireless efforts in promoting friendship and understanding among the German and Filipino people in the manner of a true Rizalist". |

Sir Dr. Gerd Krämer, KCR, was born in Suhl, Germany. He studied
electrical engineering at the Staatliche
Ingenieurschule Koblenz and Technische
Hochschule Aachen , both in Germany, from 1964 to 1967 and 1967 to
1972, respectively. He was a research assistant at the Institute for Electrical
Communications Engineering at the Technische Hochschule Aachen from 1972
to 1978, since then he is a scientist at the radar research establishment
FGAN
in Werthhoven, Germany. Since 1981 he is the German member of an international
research study group.
Sir Dr. Gerd Krämer is a Knight of Rizal since 1993. |
